STEP (Students Transitioning to Employment Program)

STEP (Students Transitioning to Employment Program) helps in-school students with disabilities, ages 16–21, prepare for employment and gain greater independence. Students build work readiness skills, explore careers and educational options, learn to advocate for themselves, and complete a 150-hour paid work experience with a local employer. STEP is available at no cost to eligible students in Burlington and Camden Counties.

Students Transitioning to Employment Program (STEP) combines career exploration, workplace preparation, and meaningful paid work experience. This program is available at no cost to Burlington and Camden County students, ages 16-21, who have a documented disability (IEP/504).

Students build work readiness skills, explore careers and educational options, learn to advocate for themselves, and complete a 150-hour paid work experience with a local employer.
