Payton is an Academic & Career Counselor. Payton identifies and provides resources to support participants pursuing their educational and career goals. Payton’s background in Sociology fostered her early love for human service and community development, which inspires her to passionately advocate for participants. As a transplant to New Jersey, she is excited about giving back to her new community; She believes that establishing a support network for young adults at Aspire sets a foundation for their continued success outside of the program. Payton holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland’s College of Behavioral & Social Sciences.
